Reflow and Tempering Oven

I have a problem. I collect hobbies. More than a couple of hobbies, and that means I have more than a couple of tools to match. Some of those tools include a soldering iron and hot air station, which admittedly are great at doing their jobs, but they can really struggle with larger jobs. Conversely, when making knives I’d really like to be able to temper smaller items in the shed without having to put them in the oven , where I cook my food.

The solution most people have come up with have been to use a toaster oven and just set-and-forget. While this option would be cool, I it lacks some of the precision I’d like to have in my use of solders and fluxes, and the tempering of certain alloys of steel. Cue the brilliant work of one Unexpected Maker, and the Reflow Master Pro. With something like this, I could have my cake and eat it too.

For obvious reasons, I haven’t shown the wiring. This isn’t a how-to guide in any way, more just to show you that it’s possible. All you need to know is that it works, and it does what I need it to do. Do things at your own risk.
